I haven't done any silhouette paintings in a while, but I was "inspired"/tricked by an email from a fake shirt mfg/art director and did some artwork last week. He evaporated as was expected, so I'mma post this up.
Kinda glad the dude bugged me or I wouldn't have gotten back into it for a little while. That's lemonade from lemons, right?

Fake art director is a thing? How does that work? They get art from you, disappear, then print it up on a shirt and sell it?

A dude contacted me that was 100% talk and seemed semi-legit. I did some sketches for him and then he stopped responding. He had emailed me a cell phone number, I called it and it wasn't his - it was some angry lady. Kinda weird, he may reappear at some point in the future, but I'm amazed at how bad at communication some people can be.
Happens all the time. You should see my email box. It's chalk full of "I will give you $ for art" fakers. Kinda hard to discern sometimes.

damn nice piece, sucks you got kinda scammed, that shirt would have been nice and if I had known spamming you with "I will give you $ for art" sometimes worked id have done it way more, lol
HAH! Totally happens. Each time it happens to a person though, it's less likely to ever happen again. "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me." ;)

Glad you came back! Haven't seen this style from you in awhile. Sucks what happened though. Thats some bullshit right there.
