I've been working on a piece for an artbook, and I think I wanna hold off on posting it for a bit, but I've rocked a few sketches in the last week or so.
This is one for a new card I want to do. I'm collaborating with a buddy of mine, Ben Johnson, but right now he doesn't like the idea, so I'm going to try something different tomorrow. Either way, I liked this piece, what with a fire flower potted in a SMB2 pot. And a crappy mario portrait on the wall.
It's going to end up being an artist doing something 8 bit or whatevs, but this isn't cutting it.
I'm excited about doing this, because it's a mixture of my favorite things:
video games,
art,
postcards. etc.
BTW - those of you overseas, I have a stack of cards to go out, buuuut I keep not having time to go by the post and getting international stamps. You MAY end up with cards cluttered with a ton of the 28 cent stamps. (^__^)
