When I'm a werewolf, I dream I'm a human.

I'm not going to dedicate a post to music only, because that's not what I do. I'm a visual artist, I draw. And my blog? It's a public diary-like place I put random musings about my art + some of the music I dig (recently), but I'm tempted to just post about cocoRosie.

CocoRosie is awesome enough to dedicate a post on a visual art blog to.

I'm not going to do that though. Do you know why? Because I have pictures from Eric Maréchal.

More hit and run artwork.

But please, by all means, listen to this track, cause it's rad, but not as rad if you don't have good headphones.

I've seen this group live and they are "hot to death". Seriously creative and creepy cool looking as one of them strips clothes off to reveal faux tattoo coverall like leotards and weird intentional messed up haircuts. Good show. Try the track. I like their mellow stuff too.

Thanks Eric. You're dope, but you know that.

Eric Marechal strikes back

I hope I've spelled your name right this time friend!

Eric is the photographer and street artist behind
UrbanHearts.

He's pasted up some more pieces that I'd sent him. I believe in Sao Paolo along side some other cool artists like Lena, Mutartis, and Tony.Make sure to check out his site with plenty of free time because it has TONS of cool stuff on it. He's in it for the love of the game and that's a worthy cause.

Thanks for the work Eric and if you guys ever see my art or any of Eric's stuff up - 'holla back' and be sure to stop for a moment and appreciate it. It's entertainment not vandalism! (^__^)

cheers and thanks for stopping by,
&Rew.

A break from That for some of This:

This is a piece I just finished. I have prints of it but no real motivation to put them up and into a store. Can you tell which pop culture ref this is from? It's pretty obvious yet nobody noticed when I had the print out.

Eric Marachal strikes again. He's been so gracious to paste me up again. Thanks Eric - you're helping art spread like a virus.

And here's a pic I've been meaning to post for a while, it's Doug Artus's racecar. If you see him racing it A. cheer for him if he's in a race. B. Don't tell the cops if it's a heist.

That's how we roll.

be seeing you,
&Rew.

Eric Marechel strikes again just in time for the new year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR...FELIZ ANO NUEVO...BONNE ANNEE

Eric Marechel is most awesome. He shares art to the world like others share smiles. Quick, almost effortlessly, this dude is an art ninja.

He goes around the world and wheat pastes art up on walls and posts and bins and frames - adding his touch to the urban landscape. His art is photography and viral placement of other artists' work.

My flickr currently consists of his and my work in several countries. Check it out at:

Today he sent me new pics of my work next to Celso Gitahny, John Howard, and Andy.

Here are a few of my favorite ones:
