MegaMan tribute piece

Udon is publishing a MegaMan tribute book. I had the honor of being included in the book which is chalk full of user submissions and professional invitations.

I really had fun with this illustration. This year I've gotten much better at painting full scenes with a little more composition and allot more polish. Aside from my recent Crazy 4 Cult piece, this one was one of my favorite's this year (including all the postcard illustrations).

Although I've got to tell you that I'm working on something that should kick the crap out of all these other paintings. But we'll keep that a secret until next week. Shall we?

CALGARRRRYYYYYYYYYYY!

Ok, so I was in Canada for the last half week. It was awesome. You canadians are way cooler than most of my neighbors and friends (but not ALL of them).

Also, I now have postcards for sale. I don't know how to add a link to sell them but I'm thinking that for a stamp plus a buck or two, I'll draw on one and mail it to you. People seemed to like them at the show and I'm looking forward to mailing tons of them out.

This is the cover for a magazine that I was just included in. It's called (as you can read) idea illustrator. they liked my black and white silhouette pics, which is great since I've been working hard on them for a long long time.

I'll post a few other pics - the art you've seen on this blog, but it's neat to see it in print format.
