I'm posting some of the work, but this is actually going to be printed and put on something. Perhaps it's a custom vinyl mario i'm making from a design by Nate Mitchell of Squid Kids Ink?
Maybe that's it!
Maybe I'm making a label or something entirely more maddening. I suppose you'll find out a little after I do.

how do you get rid of the black lines after you've colored the picture?

Dante - it's a very basic photoshop technique, I've just been painting on top of the lines using a layer, so that when I don't want them I will just turn them off. Does that help you? Do you want me to do an illustration of the idea?
