sushi on the rocks

i had a metric ton of great sushi last night. it didn't necessarily inspire this piece of art, but it did inspire me to paint a girl in a cocktail dress holding a glass up. the painting at the restaurant (of a girl in a cocktail dress) had seven fingers (one of the employees pointed out). seven fingers total is possible i suppose, but she had them on one hand.

if you're in la jolla, next to "the spot" and "jose's courtroom" - go into Sushi on the Rock II - look at the painting, have a couple rolls by the chef Robert, and take a shot of sake or two.

a shot of sake sounds so crude, there has to be a better word for that...
