look what i made!

it's a cardboard cutout. i'm going to try to get her to go out and sell copies of my book in calgary at the show.

i'll let you know how it goes.

she's about 2ft tall, but her bite is worse than her bark.

Calgary Ho!

i'm going to a convention in Calgary Canada this weekend. this is a piece i did for a charity auction they will be having.

it's black and red ink wash with white prismacolor pencil.

i had a blast last year and this year should be no different, but i think the show is gonna be one day longer than before. not sure...

if you can find me, bring a napkin and i'll doodle something on it for you. that is, if you'd like the napkin to be totally ruined. (-_- ) never the less, i'll be at a booth with a sharpy and some napkins providing people with something to blow their noses with. heheh

i recently received an email from a tattoo artist asking if they could use some of my art. my reply was - sure, if you can find anybody who would like it enough to put it on em - then why not?

the truth is that i'm very flattered that somebody put my owl piece on her side. i have had a few requests to use art, but this was the first time they had gone through and sent me a photo.

The tattoo artist's site is http://www.devilsinktattoo.com/ and his name is ran. he did a really good job on what i suspect was a difficult task.

i'm currently working on one of those projects that either completely destroys you or makes you strong - i think kanye west has a song about something like that...

the project... it's not leaving me any time for "free time art" which is mostly what i post here, but i'm really hoping that it's going to be worth it.

here's a piece i did for no reason:
i hope to find time to do much more nonsensical art for nonsensical reasons, but that seems to be on the horizon very far away.

oh ya - and kids, 'broc lee' might make it look cool to smoke, but it's not that cool and perhaps not even cool at all.
